Most are owned by a central company, whose chief function is to provide the technology that allows the readers to connect with call in clients who phone in from around the world.
So the psychics aren’t working from a central place?
Absolutely not, no. While this MAY happen in rare cases……the vast majority of the genuine psychic services employ real readers who work out of their own home or office.
Why don’t most of these psychics work for themselves?
The truth is, they really DO. The advantage that the psychic network has is an investment in technology and the ability to advertise on a larger scale than most individual intuitives could do on their own. (and another one that is highly misunderstood) The truth is, phone readings are considered FAR more evidential and accurate than those gotten face to face by most serious psychic researchers. As a matter of fact, most studies of psychics done by “real” scientists are done “blind” and by phone. (where the psychic and the client have no physical contact and can’t see each other) Phone readings reduce the risk of cold reading, of body language “tells” and of just the general sense of somebody we get when we see them sitting in front of us. The phone provides a GREAT blinding mechanism and makes the information that does come through, far more impressive and much better “PROOF” as a result.
